Japanese Action Movie Screening

Rurouni_Kenshin_(2012_film)_posterThis October, join the wandering swordsman Kenshin in his quest for redemption in Rurouni Kenshin: Origins!

The details of the screening:

Date – 8th October, 2017 (Sunday)

Time – 10:30 am to 1pm

Venue – Club activity centre; 203, Olive Grace Apartments, inside Nautanki lane, Opp. AMA

The screening will be followed by a Quiz about the movie with prizes for the winners!

Based on the world-famous shonen manga series, this film follows the story of wandering swordsman Kenshin Himura, trying to right the wrongs of his sordid past, vowing never to kill again. He finds refuge with Kaoru, a young, proud dojo master. But this new life is threatened by enemies from Kenshin’s past! Will he be able to protect the ones he loves and uphold his honour?
The live action adaption of Rurouni Kenshin, with its political intrigue and action-packed sword-fighting  has won the hearts of audiences everywhere!

The Japanese club Ahmedabad runs workshops, demonstrations and other activities for organised groups, clubs and schools trying to include as many sessions as possible free to the public. While the workshops are always free for the club members, non-club members may be charged an entrance fee.
